.....what was the most memorable thing from yesterday for you? Although I didn't see all of the coverage, I thought the procession from Westminster Hall to the abbey was really poignant and moving. The timing and precision were excellent. I thought Andrew looked like he was going to blub at the beginning. It was a fitting pageant for the queen and so well organised. Well done to all those responsible.
Is the Duke of Norfolk a Catholic?
If he is I wonder how the family managed to hold on to their lands during the times their religion was considered treacherous?
Bar putting on a show of solidarity for the funeral I don’t see the brothers reconciling, especially not if Harry stays in the States.
Harry messed up releasing the Oprah interview just after his Grandfather passed and along with the other accusations it appeared to irk William very much.
Plus it’s obvious that Katherine has very little time for Meghan and Harry leaving the RF so suddenly out of the blue burned too many bridges, in my humble opinion.
Good gracious, 10cs. Was it only last Friday you posted a thread wondering if "her maj took out one of those funeral plans from Bun Life? " Oh how you laughed...
..and what has that got to do with his organisational skills?
because Romans do rituals rippingly
oh you really knew that, but was just saying it in good AB tradition.
( like quipping- why he do dat? why dont Mrs Mopp darn my road do dat, she good too)
The pallbearers,as has been stated.
The only person who would be aware of any faux Pas would surely be the Duke of Norfolk?
There was a couple of times I thought the organist hit a couple of bim notes and was going to play The Garden of Eden.
Overall, the armed forces were superb.
Tilly2, his religion has nothing to do with his ability to organise the great rituals of state.
I was just wondering how his family managed to hold on to titles and estates during times when it was considered treasonable to submit to the authority of Rome.
