///all telling me they will get back to me, none have. ///

Morning all. If there's one thing which really drives me mad, it's the above. I try to keep them on the line after the first occurrence, but you can't stop them hanging up. Another ploy I use is asking their name which occasionally moves things along. But in the end you're helpless.

morning Canary
Morning, emmie, it’s likely the mice aren’t coming in and going out again. After all this time they’ve probably moved in and made your flat their permanent home. You need to flush the nests out. You’ll never get rid of them if you don’t. They’ll just carry on breeding - in your flat.

i e mailed the leader of the local council - no response, no forward e mail to the right person/dept. Hopeless is right....loads of jobsworths

morning Naomi, i know.... i am considering buying my own traps, one's that kill them. I don't want to have this any longer.
Morning all, a bright start climatically, a bit tired here, having been late in last night - not work that's this evening. Anyway, I have probably missed you all and the coffee and paper beckon plus flush a few notes away with buying breakfast for the car.
Traps will kill some but they won’t stop them nesting and breeding.

i am glad i don't drive, couldn't afford it anyway.
You don’t need to drive where you live, emmie. Living in the wilds has its benefits but I couldn’t be without a car.

My SIL always asks me to transfer down to near where they live,
but i can't drive and there you most definitely need a car as their buses aren't that good.
I think you’re pretty ok without a car in any town but not in the country where I live.

Do you hunt muntjac or pounce on wild boar perched on the bough of a Norwegian spruce with a home made spear?
Question Author
they live about 20 minutes drive from a central town, too far to walk, there are buses but when they don't come you can be left waiting for an age for the next one, as has happened to me.

anyway it's time to go, have a good day, stay safe, bye for now
Zebu, not me - I go to the supermarket - but I know people who go out with guns for rabbit, pheasant and deer - and rarely buy meat.
Have a good day emmie and naomi
