Hiding debt from partners

Put this up on TV topic but might be better here.On monday on Trevor Macdonald programme this was the topic.Why do people go on national tv and let everyone know the debt they are in.One woman lived in my street and it was so obvious what she was doing at first we thought she had plenty money.She said her partner didn't know but he was always with her on this holidays and when she told him on the show how much debt she had �50,000 without interest he didnt seemed shocked.She told him that she felt she had to tell him as he had asked her to move in with him.Now why move into a house just 6 monthe ago and have loads of work done as the house was in immaculate condition.But about 4 weeks ago she suddenly moved and her house is let out .

I don't understand why people go on national tv to air their problems. Programmes like Trisha should be banned. It's the same with How Clean Is Your House, why would you let cameras into your home if it looked like that! What happens in my private like is just that, private!

Yes I agree with what you say but I was curious to know if they got paid for this for going on the show especially when they cleared out pretty quick .It was filmed up that week and they moved out on the sat.Thanks for your reply.

I'm not sure if they get paid for anything like this, but they probably get something out of it, otherwise why do it?
