I wash my hair every other day using regular shampoo and by the end of that same day or the beginning of the next day it looks greasy and unwashed which is quite embarrassing! Does anyone know of a good shampoo which would leave my hair looking clean and washed, preferably one thats not too expensive! Thanks

have you tried vosene its been around a long time but might help
Wash it every day!
I was my hair everyday but could easily leave it for an extra day. I use Sunsilk Shampoo and Conditioner but I don't condition the roots of my hair. Only the ends. Conditioner makes my hair very heavy at the roots and unmanagable. Do you use conditioner? If so don't put it on the roots. Try shampoos for greasy hair too. Plus ones like Timotei do a 'light as cotton' range which means they are light on hair too and don't give it such a strong chemical coating!
I use Superdrug own-brand anti-dandruff shampoo for greasy hair and it works a treat - and is cheap. I only have to use it every other day.
There is a dry shampoo called Batiste? that you can buy but it doesnt last very long. Also by the time you've applied it to the roots and then brushed it through you could have washed your hair. I'm the same as you and I can never find shampoo for greasy hair anymore.
Head and Shoulders do a frequent-use greasy hair one, which I find good. I mostly wash it every day, but it usually looks ok for a second day as long as I haven't slept on it badly
funny enough Head and Shoulders gives me dandruff as it's too strong. Also if your hair is dyed Head and Shoulders strips the colour like mad.
