Best so far this year depends on my mood. If I want something loud to bounce along to, then Small Talk by an indie rock band called Mohair. If I'm in a quieter mood, probably Rabbit Fur Coat by Jenny Lewis & The Watson Twins.
Most disappointing album - The Beautiful Lie by Ed Harcourt. Not a particularly bad album: I just haven't been able to get into it as I have with his previous work.
Although i dont think the album was released this year i had never heard of it until someone mentioned it on here it is the Easy Star All Stars - Dub side of the Moon - which blew me away and hasnt left my car for weeks. I wasnt impressed much by Kasabian's new cd i thought it was boring and nowhere near as good as the last one.
best Snow Patrol, Paulo Nutini or Streets albums. Just got the Fratellis too and it sounded good on first listen. No worst yet, I tend to try before I buy if I'm not sure.
WORSE: probably Morrissey. Not really bad (I'm a huge fan)but just disappointed as it was hyped so much and I felt a bit deflated after listening to it
