Dentist Asking For More Money After I Paid Up In June
Hi,
Had a lot of work done at the dentist, £000s worth starting last December, finished in June. I paid what I was asked for after every appointment but out of the blue - over 3 months later - they're saying I still owe £180 ! I queried it, & they've sent a statement of work done & what I paid, but it's gobble-de-gook to me.
Can't understand why it wasn't added to the £650 I paid in June as says it was due the same time, they've given no explanation. Is there anything I can do ?
(not sure what category to put this in so apologies if the wrong one)

The best thing to do is to ask them to explain further what you had done, and which bits remain unpaid for. On the work contracts i manage, the supplier has six years (!!) to submit their invoice and still expect to be paid.
No-one ever does leave it 6 years in practice of course

It will be £180 short, bookbinder. On the statement there are 2 treatments for 13 June. When I paid the outstanding balance it was for just one only I didn't know that until now, they didn't give me any list of what I was paying for until today, when I've asked for it. All I ever got was the credit slip of the amounts I paid.
I suspect this £180 must be for a filling I was going to have at a later date, that I've yet to have, that they told me would be paid for when I have done, not the day I booked the appointment (which I subsequently cancelled) !

I will have the filling at some point bookbinder, but at the moment there's no urgency on my part, & I've better things to spend £180 on ! LOL
I have a full statement jno, & defo looks like it's this filling I haven't had yet. In the process of getting dates & stuff together to email them yet again.
