whoever said it was a wonder drug? It's a very widely used drug and I think the battle against it has been lost.

About 30% of the population have tried it. Is there really any point in trying to hunt them all down?

The main harm that arises from cannabis is because of the fact that it is illegal. Alcohol was banned in the USA and that led to the gangster culture of Prohibition. Alcohol provokes violent behaviour whereas cannabis is the opposite. Illegality results in criminal gangs trying to make money from its provision. If alcohol were to be discovered now as a new drug it would be treated as far more dangerous than cannabis.

Well obviously since the 'war on drugs' has been won as far as heroin, cocaine, crystal meth and other highly addictive substances are concerned then da weed is the next logical step.

I think... Cannabis should remain Class B- it is far more harmful than people seem to think, causing Schizophrenia, psychosis etc. Heroin should be A, and Cocaine, Cannabis, B. They are more comparable.

I agree 1,000% with Atheist.
Around here, the regular users were quiet and amiable.
Football boys, occasional users, bit louder, seldom any trouble.
Rugby boys with their shiny shoes, ties, smart jackets with their badge on the breast pocket. Competition drinkers. Guaranteed to start trouble, anywhere and everywhere within 10 minutes, if anyone was daft enough to let them in. Damn savages.

I think that it should be up to each person to decide if they want to take Cannabis.

I know that it can be harmful to people with underlying serious mental health issues like Schizophrenia but I still think that we should be allowed to decide.

I have never tried it and don't plan to.
