Just a post to endorse the final sentence (see below) of ABSpareEditors post which has responses barred. I feel sure that many Abers share my appreciation for their efforts.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.not sure about No 17: moderators suspending then reinstating. That sort of makes them judges imposing a fixed sentence which however they don't have to specify (and which they may very well forget if they then depart for six months on a space station or similar).
Wouldn't it be better if mods simply notified the Eds that they'd suspended someone and then left them to reinstate as and when they see fit?

Murraymints, that is the final word on that topic. Let me remind you of this thread, specifically this line: "If you can’t do this then we must and will take action for the benefit of the community as a whole."
Murraymints I don't think Ed quite said that in those words. The Ed said a particular user was welcome but didn't refer to there past record of bans.
It seems abit odd to me that banned users are allowed back sometimes more than once. . THAT'S the managements right but inconsistent when some users are suspended permanently.
