Got 2 pairs of glasses from Tigerspecs. Very good value.Within weeks I had lost one pair somewhere in the house - logically they have got to be in either bedroom or lounge as that’s the only places I read, but can I find them?? Then last week I manage to break the other pair! Go online and order 2 more pairs - yep you’ve guessed it - within just THREE days I’ve lost BOTH pairs!! How is that even possible!?? I’ve hunted the house and can’t find them!! Maybe I’m eating them in my sleep! #frustrated #backtosquareone #onlyonebrokenpair. Grrrrrrrrr!

Still hunting for the car keys I hid in safe place before going on holiday at the end of May, so can only sympathise.

Sometimes I leave a pair on my bed, then make bed, as I'm shaking duvet out, they fly across room and land down side of bed sometimes. Have a good look u fee and around your bed :-)

I have an effective solution. Lose something else and while hunting for it the glasses turn up.

Buy one of those chains to hang your glasses around your neck.

That looks useful, thank you jno - I might give it a try. I tend to put my reading glasses down in the most unlikely places.

Put up a prayer to St Anthony, patron saint of lost things. They will turn up. Noticed Tilly suggested a chain to hang them round you neck. A teacher I worked with had one of those, bent down to look over a child's shoulder and nearly hung the child as the chain slipped over her head and under her chin!
