It doesn't seem entirely respectful to concrete over them and leave them to make up part of the foundations for a food emporium, which is what the site is intended for.
It is standard practice to relocate any found dead bodies on construction sites.
Recently when the Manchester Metrolink tram system was extended down Cross Street, 280 bodies were discovered, which had to be carefully removed and reburied.

good. Big doctrinal problems - re-buried according to which rite? But some Anglicans still have difficulty over reburial and the reformation ( forbids just about everything connected with worship for with or by the dead, inc masses ( deffo out) prayers, prayers to saints, other people, and deffo reburial with a funeral mass.)
With the death of our late Queen these issues ( multiple services where at least one of her religions prescribes one only) were completely ignored by the Beeb presumably because of the rank ignorance of their reporters.
The Queen head of the Church of England used to pray in Scortland in the nearest Church of Scortland - ( not Anglican Church) - so there was a choice and I am sure the Romans would have helped out if there had been a tie in the dispute
what did they do
Clue: sixties Dorchester. In darzet aaaaarh !
"If you dig down anywhere in Dorchester you get Roman remains. If you ring up County Hall (*) and tell them they say carry on and show no interest so no one rings them now." [so the Roman town remains completely unsurveyed].
(*) for Zax: county hall is where Sarah Henchard returns, in the Mayor of Casterbridge along with Elizabeth Jane his daughter. Actually not his daughter, that one died and this is a replacement she got somewhere. Hardy
//No one of the usual suspects have commented
hold it what did they do the first time? //
It crossed my mind but I concluded that they probably didn't dig deep enough to find them the first time. A bit like Richard III when they concreted over him and built a car park.
Unless those being moved complain, it doesn't matter what rites etc. are adhered to. They're taking a trip and will like it, whether they like it or not.
