I was 19 , clad in my tiny mini dress and white PVC boots , it was a pale beige mini dress in wool with a polo neck, I loved it till………
I had several Cherry Bs and ciders and promptly threw up down the front of it, I had to bin it, now it’s taken me years to have a glass of red wine :0(

newcastle brown!! i used to like the odd bottle in the 70s, until i went with a couple of mates in ´88(btw one of them was a geordie) to lake windimere for a walking weekend, got to the campsite by around 9, put the tent up and 13 newcastle browns later i collapsed into my tent only to be woken by my geordie mate at about 5.30am with a pot of cold water to wake me up. I was reminded of my behaviour later that day, apparently i wouldnt stop hurling all kinds of insults at anybody i saw on our walk.
ps i cant believe i sank 13 bottles, surely that wouldve killed me?
and yes i havent touch a drop of the stuff ever since!

Bacardi - and coke....school drink, no ice, too much and serious barf material....

the only way I drink it, very occasionally it must be said, is a Pina Colada or a cocktail that really masks the Cuban water.
