They do not discriminate against male drivers. My partner is insured with them and he is male. What the adverts are saying is that they do cheaper car insurance for women not that they ONLY insure women. There are all sorts of companies that give cheaper insurance to different groups like Saga who give cheaper insurance to the over 55s
Fuzziebear- Just to say that i was of the same opinion that they only insured women too! and i thought exactly the same as you! I will study the advert more closely next time i see it.
I think it isn't discrimination against men - but on driving performance.
If they have facts to back it up-
ie - women have less accidents therefore are 'safer' drivers = lower insurance premiums.
They are discriminating on performance statistics - not gender.
If it were simply gender - I would be the first to agree with you.
I suppose if the statistics showed men were safer - it would be adverts for 'Bruces Wheels'.
Well, wait a minute, men are quite happy to brag about how better drivers they are than women, but aren't happy for women to have cheaper insurance? Surely if we're really that crap at driving then we're gonna need cheaper insurance?
