Ebay stars and Feedback

I got some positive feedback today but it didn't increase the number next to my star on ebay, why?

If it was from a member who has previously given you feedback, this will not increase your feedback score.

really! so if I buy the same thing twice, it only counts once, no matter how long the gap is!

No matter how many different items, or the same items, you buy from the same seller, your rating will only increase with the first item.

If you look at the amount of feedback you have, it will be different from your fb rating.

This is to stop people falsely inflating their feedback.
