I am currently watching 13 lives, the film with Vigo mortenssen and Colin Farnell doing the Thai cave rescue. It is utterly harrowing despite the fact I know the ending! Any other films like that?

no, not all of them - even the mistake that worked in favour. when they tested the air it showed lack of oxygen, it was that reading which persuaded the authorities to evacuate. however it turns out the instrument they used was uncalibrated; when they re-tested it the oxygen levels were fine. (but they neglected to tell the authorities that last bit, because it would have left the boys in there until the water dropped.....)
