Washing Machine Tripping Mains Box

Any idea why Wasing machine keeps tripping mains box. Plug seems OK

Very common with any electrical appliances involving water, jw.

If you mean the circuit breaker operates, then there's a short-circuit or overload.
If you mean the RCD, then that would be an earth fault.

Either way, I would guess there's a fault in the machine.

Perhaps water is shorting out the 'lectrics.

maybe your smalls are too big? (sorry!)

More often than not, it's the heating element in the washing machine that's causing the problem.
