Dream analysis

My friend just explained the following dream to me, can anyone shed any light? "I had a dream last night that I actually got to use the Bat-phone!! In the same dream though I dreamt I was with Jack Osbourne and he was given a Smith and Wesson hand gun with a, you know the flip out screens on camcorders, one of those on it with satalite navigation (to aid hunting). And also we had to do a coursework on volcano lava and it was just BLOODY IMPOSSIBLE

Part of it has to do with an inferiority complex being compensated for being with famous people or heros. The cool stuff hides the fact that there is stress about something that the person has to do. I think this person feels incopmeptent or insecure about something she/he plans to do and is hiding that fact to themselves by hyping it up.
