Charged Twice For A Meal

My friend and I popped in to get a pub meal. I ordered online and it didn't appear to go through.
I then went to order and pay at the bar. When I got back there were 2 drinks waiting on the table with my friend. We then got our meal delivered. All OK, I had paid as usual with my credit card.
That night I got a 2nd bill for the same meal in an email from Gmail in a Google account. I have never used this to pay anything. I have sent them an email to point everything out, as yet no reply. I paid twice for the same meal. I have both copies in emails. I'm not sure how this happened. We only got one meal

Because almost the exact same thing happened when I purchased an item online and thought I'd got 2 bills (emails showing the amount spent) but second one turned out to be just something the company I had bought from had sent out to do with their own payment account. Check your credit card statement first.
