ramipril is an red/white capsule / amlodipine is an oval pill
JJ I’d think there just the brand names
Both are for lowering BP but act in different ways.
Amlodopine acts on the kidney exchange mechanism and Ramipril on the enzymes that control BP .

Same, same basically.

It's just doc wants to higher ramipril. At mo take 5mg amlopidine and 2 and half mg ramipril so want me to take 5 ramipril. I am reluctant as 10mg made my right foot swell up
That's up to your Dr. and your BP readings and kidney status.
