Have just been reading about this dreadful incident. Gun crime seems to rise every year - is it really so easy to purchase firearms? Maybe the law needs tightening?

I don't know personally but I believe someone on here said there are some pubs in the big cities where you can go in with £200 & come out with a gun and ammo in 1/2 hour.

I think the laws on handguns are pretty strict already, so, no, further legislation won't help

ZebuSanctuary that's quite a nasty remark; he was a young man doing his job. The fact that he was Brazilian - who had been working here for 2 years - should not colour your judgement.

I am absolutely appalled at how this young man came to meet his demise.

The government washes its hands whilst Khan and the police fail time and time again to prevent such atrocities. For goodness sake, it's a tiny minority who soil the streets of London with their monstrous and loathsome behaviour.

I am utterly sickened to the back teeth by this incident and equally so, by the supine attitudes shown by the authorities that run this country. It needs stamping out, NOW!

Let me apologise for the somewhat seemingly crass remark. It was used purely as a release mechanism!

Some crimes are so heinous, that one finds it ineffable to find words to describe the seriousness of the crime. Especially a crime as grave as this one!

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to explain my position, even if meant me going off in a rant and venting my spleen.
