Bbc Quiz : Week 45

How come it’s always Friday? What keeps happening to all of the other days of the week?

I collected my new specs from Asda this afternoon and I’m clearly having difficulty in reading questions clearly. That’s my (lousy) excuse for an appalling TWO out of seven in the main quiz - and I’m sticking to it!

I didn’t do a great deal better in the Timed Teaser either, with just FOUR out of ten. (I’m suing that ruddy optician!)

GG: The Caboodle books' quiz gets easier day by day, simply by reading all of the threads about it here on AB ;-)

Everything is easier than ruddy Diophantine equations though! That's what my degree thesis was on. I came across it the other day and it looks even more baffling to me now than it did then!

I thought that the mighty Lie-in King might stumble a bit in a week that almost everyone here has found to be a really tricky one but, of course, he didn't! (He never does!). WELL DONE, LIE-IN KING!

Amazing, Caran! Even when I make it really easy for you to beat me, you still fail to do so! I reckon that you'll finally stun me with your scores one week soon though, perhaps even with a triple maximum?

Thanks Chris,
I had my cataracts removed 4 weeks ago and don't need glasses any more. Well worth the cost (thank you NHS)!
