What Does It Mean If A Child Takes A Shine To You Immediately?

Yesterday I was visiting a friend I haven’t seen in a few years as she moved to another part of the country. She had her little sister with her who is 7 years old and she hasn’t seen me before because she was a baby last time. Anyway, within literally a minute of me going in the house the little sister ran over and bear hugged me and must have hugged me a good 10-15 times throughout the day. We was all laughing hysterically about it and although I thought it was funny I was very surprised and confused as to why she took such a shine to me. It’s not like I had taken the time to speak or show my personality for the kid to see as it was instant. She also said she wanted to keep me there at their house lol. I was very confused about the whole thing tbh.

Children are (unconsciously) very susceptible to picking up adult's feelings and the girl instantly picked up on her big sister's affection and pleasure at seeing you after a long absence. This gave her the self-confidence to fully accept you similarly.

Just my amateur psychoanalytical theory.

I've found that children and animals have a sixth sense about humans. If somethings not right they know, therefore OP you must give off positive energy. No need to be confused, it shows you are nice person to be around!
