I used to love them when I made my own...from late ex mum in laws recipe.
But I haven't in ages...only me and I'd scoff the lot. Then pay the price of eating wheat...weight up and aching joints.
We have mince pies all the year round.
Hiya Tigger they'll be added to my next tesco order, I suggest booking your december aslo... seems pretty empty but might be a bit Dasher as it get closer not Prancer later.

Good stuff Giddy-up and whatsit might get there before you.
No mince pies here yet.

Has anyone had a spiced pumpkin latte? It just sounds revolting to me.
Bobbs, I'd never heard of Stollen until one of my neighbours mentioned it to me. He is from Germany and he shops at Lidl. Last Christmas he brought me a carrier bag full of Stollen delights from Lidl. Hope he does it again this year, it was delish. :-)
I love Stollen!..
Is stollen a very heavy cake with a marzipan topping?
No, you’re thinking of simnel cake.
It does contain marzipan but you need to try it to see if you like it, I love it.
I love stollen too. I'm really looking forward to getting some of those iced ginger-cake 'sweets' from Lidl (forgotten what they're called).
Pfeffernause or something like that
