Popped into a Morrisons for a few bits. On way back (about 2 hours later) realised I had forgotten something so decided to pop in again as it was enroute.

Was very aware there are certain 'no return after x hours' polices but wasnt sure on the time frame. As I passed the sign to say 'No return before 3 hours' it was too late, I was already in the car park and no doubt picked up on ANPR. I didnt park up and exited the car park (Ridiculous - Morrisons lost a sale!)

Wondered if I will get a charge in the post for it?

Do their terms and conditions allow folk a certain number of minutes to find a space before being deemed to have parked?

If it does, you might not be classed as having returnt.

Thanks TCL - not sure, will have a look on their website as expect it's a blanket T&Cs for all stores.
I doubt if anyone's going to charge you for not parking. The usual rule is that if you drive round a car park and leave without stopping because you can't find a place, you won't be charged.

Of cours there's no telling how robots will react.
JNO, I have seen notices where if you enter the car park, you have five to ten minutes to either park or leave.

If you leave outwith that period without paying a ticket, a penalty notice can be issued.
It's a strange retailer that discourages paying customers.

I think the three hour stuff might just be a warning not to take the peepee with the parking and not an actual thing.

In most cases it is for the benefit of customers as it prevents a take over by all-day commuter parking.
If you had gone to customer service and explained they would have sorted it for you I have done this several times
Aye Canary, I get that but to penalise a customer who arrives home to find they've forgotten part of the dinner and goes back to get it ain't good business.

I'd think the return period is flexible at worst, especially when money changes hand in-store.
