Has been a bit of fun, Bobbi....wish I could stop typing Boobi! Lots of lovely folk on this site but Gulliver with his obsession and not much else to offer and the endless bickering in News overshadow them. I suppose we could try for fun or interesting threads more often but the will soon goes.
I have, Patsy....he'll be hanging ribbons on our Holy Well before you know it!

That would be nice, Bobbi. We often have something happen and say that would have been fun in the old days of AB. Now you just think of the grumpies who seem to spend all day spoiling threads with their sarcasm and silly one liners that they think are smart.
Off to bed soonish....early trip to Cork. Two hours if Mallow is clear then arrive too early. Have to leave three hours just in case. Will take some knitting!

Thanks, Bobbi. Hope the trip back from Cork is clear as Dave has his Irish Language lessons at five. Takes place in the Book Shop and they bring wine to the lessons and then go to The Holy Well for a pint or two. Not sure he remembers much when he gets home! Enjoy your girl's pub night...x

Glad to have spotted this thread, I was wondering about Gness as well - glad you're ok :-) x

Earlier - "Dave now protects the tree" - I have a pic in my mind of him holding a golf club aloft while up a very tall ladder during thunderstorms in order to keep any lightning away from the tree ;-))

Dave is now laughing at me as we go nowhere near Mallow...it's Macroom. I have no sense of direction or place at all. This doesn't worry me...well sometimes when I'm lost it might...as folk with no sense of direction are further removed from apes and are much cleverer than folk who have a good sense of direction.
There may be other studies on this but I'm sticking with the above. :-)

Dave hasn't gone that far...yet...but he will run at speed up the field to stop anyone trimming the lane from touching the fairy tree. The fairies who live under it are delighted when he stops their home being damaged.
