If I remember correctly Connie, the last soul is not with the plane as he baled out, so his body is about 10 miles from the plane and that's why they don't find it (or perhaps they do. I seem to remember the last soul finds a way to make the 'rescue team' find his body.)

hi connie this is sole survivor i have a copy the one ghost thats left is because when the plane crashed. all the men baled out thinking they were over the sea infact they were over the dessert one man left the others to find the crashed plane and died else where when the others die they all meet up at the plane its a great film regards kevin
