Ryanair -Only One Claim Per Booking Question
3 Answers
In 2018 Ryanair cancelled a flight from Germany to the UK due to the pilots' strike. They claimed EU261 did not apply in such circumstances so I had to buy a ticket on another airline to get back to the UK. I arrived in the UK later than I would have done if the Ryanair flight had taken place.
Ryanair this week have chosen not to pursue their appeal against a Court of Appeal ruling that EU261 did apply . Various websites are saying that people should now claim for compensation. I reckon I am due the cost of the alternative flight £350 , plus £220 for being back in the UK later than I should have been.
When you go to make a claim with Ryanair , the form says "Only one claim per booking"-meaning you are forced to pick the expense reimbursement or the delay compensation.
Has anyone managed to get both, please and if so how did you do it?

If I was in your position, I'd send my claim by letter to
Ryanair Customer Services
P.O Box 11451
Swords
Co.Dublin
Ireland
To forestall the possibility of Ryanair saying that you should have made your claim within the UK, I'd suggest that you also send a copy of your claim letter to
Ryanair UK
2nd Floor
Enterprise House
Stansted Airport
Bassingbourn Road
CM24 1QW

Thanks for your reply.
See "My flight was cancelled due to a strike by airline staff. What are my rights? Am I entitled to financial compensation?", here:

As I read that, you would seem to have a valid claim for both amounts.
