Terms Of Endearment.

I have just been speaking to my Aunty up in Stoke. When she answered the phone she said, 'Hello, tater pot. Are you alright?'

It makes me smile to think that she still thinks of me as a tater pot. Sometimes it's 'sugar plum.'
Please don't anyone ask me what a tater pot is. I'm sure it's not the saucepan used for boiling potatoes. :-)

What endearments do you receive from relatives/friends?

I grew up being called "Maid". I liked that. Or "Duck" by my Mum

One of my sons-in-law calls my middle daughter 'Honey' - makes me cringe.

On other days it is pronoun+adjective+noun.

My son calls his younger daughter "Babz" in spite of the fact that she has recently become a teenager and her name is not even Barbara - a long way from Sophia!
