Apologies Baldric, Ellie, there is only one thing that I have in sellin g to a friend! as I have done a few times in my life, "Can You Sort this Out, this has gone wrong, have you got this, believe me this dose happen£ I have never sold a car to someone that I know that had a fault ( Not saying you will) but just think about that, If you are happy with a trade in of £1900, go for it but ask for a full service, 1year MOT (If it needs it) 6 months Road Tax, be as cheeky as you can ( I would, Profit Margin!!) If you can, take a Mechanic with you to check the newer car out, Mileage to the Cam Belt, Clutch Cable Wear to the year of the car, Service History to the Stamp in the book, Owners, Condition, HPI Check (Get the seller to do that) he may say are you taking the IZZZZZZ, just Ignore that, you want good value for your money, they want to sell the car, you have the Money if you do not get want to want, walk away there's a lot of cars out there believe me & the garages are trying to sell them to restock. Good Luck.x

They don't pass on your details to Glass's or WeBuyAnyCar unless you say so, but you get evaluations from both at the same time.

One point not to overlook: although you want to get as much for your present car as possible, there is a lot more money to be gained by getting a discount on your new car....nobody should pay "list price" for any car, unless it's a very sought-after model with a long waiting time. You need to go ready to haggle and have an idea how much discount is possible on different models...use What Car's "Target Price" information. For example, if you do go for a Captur...about 10% discount is possible...that's £1500 to £1800 discount, depending on which model.
I've never paid anything like list price for any car I've bought...and never will!

When evaluating an automobile online, there are several things to take into account to get the best price on a used car:
Do your research before accepting the first offer you come across. To get a feel for the market, consider various possibilities and compare prices.
Negotiate: Don't be scared to bargain over the car's price. Start with a smaller offer to see if the seller will consider lowering their asking price.
Find out the car's market value by doing some online research using sites like Best Car Buyers in UAE or Sell Any Car in UAE. This will enable you to choose a reasonable price to offer.
Look for special offers: Pay attention to sales or limited-time promotions at auto dealerships or other used-car merchants.
