Chariots Of Fire Editted Version!!

Just watched this film on BBC2.
So being on BBC2, surely no ads, but I'm sure a few scenes were cut. This film apparently ran for 2 hrs. But the original ran for 2 hrs 3 mins. Admittedly I missed the first 1/2hr. So I wonder if there were scenes cut?

I wonder did they cut the anti-Semitism from the film?

If you remember the film( or filem) as my Irish dad would say.
The scenes I missed were when: Abrahams struggled to really compete, that's when sam came in and worked his magic. Eric liddle fell over in a race, he got up and won the race!!
As I dont like in UK, can somebody tell me if they still show films uninterrupted, or are there lots of gaps for ads for charity or?

if you're talking about TV, it depends what channel you watch, piggynose. BBC no ads, ITV, Channels 4 and 5, ads. Subscription channels like Sky Movies, usually.
