very sad I was fortunate enough to meet him some years back in my previous WAG life.. very nice man..has contributed so much to the world of football... he will forever be associated with class !!

imho he was a great footballer (not the best )
but his personality more than made up for that he was a great ambassador for the game and always will be.
plus he help the allies beat the Germans

Gone to play heavenly football as he always did. His good friend is waiting and Pele is already on the team sheet. Banks is in goal. He will laugh at that prospect. Out of pain and anguish now. R.I.P. Pele.
