Immigration Law
My cousin is in Canada now for the past 5 years, and she and her family have not been given their stay to be citizens of Canada. They actually came in as immigrants thru the US border and have since attended three court hearings, but all of them refused, given them a stay in Canada. Now they were asked to go to the border control in which they went there and they were told to fill out some forms. So my question is, do they still have a chance to be given citizenship in Canada, or will they be asked to return back to Nigeria?

Just as with the UK, USA and many other nations, only certain groups of people are eligible to be granted lawful immigrant status. If one or more members of the family fall into one of the categories shown here, they at least some stand some chance of being allowed to remain (but, given that they've already been refused several times, they'll need a damned good immigration lawyer to help them). Otherwise they stand no chance whatsoever:
