The Week 1343

Just the one letter I can't complete :- 27 A/c (unclued) (3) O?Q. The only theme of the puzzle is as follows :- "Taking all white squares around the perimeter from square 1 is a quotation (12 words), a book title (3 words) and its author's name (2 words) starting at 34. The abbreviation at unclued 27 could help".
The quotation, book title and author's name are all easy to work out without any specific help from "the abbreviation at unclued 27". Nevertheless, the unclued 27 still requires a 3 letter answer to be entered in the grid and I have O?Q, which I am unable to solve. Any ideas? TIA.

ODQ often appears, Oxford Dictionary of Quotations, at the end of preambles in many of the themed crosswords.
