the poster obviously knew when the mods would be absent and knew that people were concerned about emmie... i did not follow any of this but looking back at the listed question they even posted it late in the evening too...

was naomi made a mod to deal with this or was she a mod before?

Basically The editor has more clout. From what I understand mods don't see when things are reported. The main thing is that Editors should Edit and they should be available.

And I wonder why it seemed to have been left solely with Naomi to deal with. Some of the other open Mods were very conspicuous by their absence while it was all going on. That was my perception at least.

It took me about three or four days before"daveinscotland"was removed from this site.I reported him/her every hate filled comment i recieved from him/her.I have no faith in the mods or the eds on this site anymore.
