PowerPoint Totally Free, High Resolution Images

I have to do a 20 min PowerPoint presentation for a job interview. I have been to Bing and Google and have found the dozen or so photographs that I need but now it turns out that their resolution is too low for them to look sufficiently good when projected onto a screen. There are 5 on the Interview Panel so the images will need to look 'professional' on an average sized screen. The images needed must illustrate UK adult education/ UK public sector/diversity etc. I have tried MS Online Clip Art but their images are too American to use. I would be really grateful for help. Please does anyone have any ideas of where I could try next for totally free suitable photos available online? Many thanks.

difficult to offer advice without knowing more detail (that you shouldn't give here anyway).
but if using pics - you need to be aware of copy write and use conditions
a common question is ... and where did X come from or and what are the terms of use for this XXX
your interview will be classed as business use - which is against many usage policies.
can you ditch the photos (or reduce the number) and substitute bullet points and graphs.
they're going to be looking at you - and not interested in if you can use google to find pretty pictures.
however visually pleasing your presentation ... they're not an audience - they won't be overly impressed by spinning titles and pretty pictures
the content and how well it's presented are important - have you done some research - then they're interested in you... granted some of that interest will be what you show on screen ... but they're looking at how you assemble and present facts. (basically do they like you

but compared to surrounding authorities techy town falls below the average of 12.5%

I sure I am OK on the legality of the pix but your comment about spending days and days searching for a pic of some mature students in a classroom is so close to the truth I think you may know me.../ be on the Interviewing Panel. Will take your advice on researching some stats and starting to think about the content of the Presentation.

Search Flickr for CC'd images. Use whatever you want (usually there are large images available), just comply with the CC license the authors have set. Usually this just means adding a quick slide at the end of your presentation with a list of links and author names, so people know you haven't stolen them.
