Suitable Bag For Formal Interviews
16 Answers
Am female aged 22,and will probably be facing a few interviews in the coming months, probably wearing something quite formal... plain fitted skirt, blouse and fitted jacket, navy or black.... I have both. Has anyone any suggestions/weblinks for a nice bag or clutch bag to take with me? Help appreciated, but nothing ridiculously expensive....remember I'm looking for a job, not loaded!! Thanks for your suggestions, I don't usually carry a bag... so haven't a clue!

You need something slim but big enough to take A4 papers. Nothing worse than crumpled paperwork at an interview. Something like this: Amazon.co.uk User Recommendati on

I'd probably go for something like this style wise, fit to your budget and, depending on the job, possible expectations:

Smart, not too fussy, large enough to keep anything you take with you tidy and easily available and large enough to fit extra things for a check before going in (if you would check hair and/or makeup), small deodorant, any crib notes and space to put anything you are given in while looking businesslike.
I'm saying that from a business interview perspective though so depends on what you are going for really.
