Just wondered if any ABers had tried meditation and what you thought of which, which types you tried etc. Been thinking of finding my 'inner calm' ;) and have found here are literally thousands of types of meditation. All ideas and thoughts welcome (well, not all - only nice thoughts!)
I have a couple of meditation tapes that are really great. I put them on when in bed and sends me straight to sleep! But you do go all trancey first and I am certain that I sleep better and have no stress dreams.
Hello Srh, I have tried meditation and I am more of the school of Krishnamurti. However, I have found that I can meditate subconsciously, I zone out and people often ask what I am thinking about and it kind of wakes me up and I have to say nothing.
Fr finding your inner calm I could recomend anything more than a gong shower. I was walking through town one day and this guy was playing a gong and I instantly felt relaxed. So I went to talk to him and he invited me for a free gong shower. I have been many times since and it really , really makes me feel at ease.
I see you are interested in the topic of meditation. First of all I know every beginning is changeling, but I must say meditation really changed my life, so go for it.
