Does anyone remember a spoof comedy sketch from about 15/20 years ago where two guys were dressed as 70s scientists with fake american accents, long hair and beards? I think it was an open uni spoof. I did think that it was The Fast Show but after some digging around I don't think it was. A youtube link would be even better!

Thanks,

I've got a feeling it was Fry and Laurie
All I can find is a "blooper" extract

I did come across that too but it is not what I am thinking off. To my mind it was Harry Enfield of one of that crew. One of the 'scientists' used to flick his hair over his sholder all the time and they were all quite San Fran so it probably wasn't open uni related. It is driving me mental! :)
The Fast Show did indeed do such a thing - Professor Denzil Dexter, played by John Thompson. Any good?

Or, are you thinking of this perhaps?

You are a HERO!!!!!!!!! Ah - I can stop obessing and get on with my work now! Cheers!
That Fast Show professor was funny. I liked the short sketch were he just said something along the lines of "For this experiment, we took these chemicals...........from another lab without telling them!"
