Would it be possible to have a sticky thread in TV.

There are so many TV programmes being recommended, or the opposite that it makes it hard to keep up. If everything goes on one thread everyone will know where to look for a bit of inspiration.

Good idea. I’ll second that.

Thank you, Naomi :)
I lose track too, Rocky.
Question Author
Naomi, as a mod, can you make a thread 'sticky'?
No, Rocky. The Eds have to do that.
I would love to see thriller/drama recommendations.
As there would be many posts after a while with varying reviews sometime after a recommendation, would a separate sub-category not be better?

There could be a thread for each programme or series and any reviews would be contained within that specific thread.

The Gossip sub-category could be re-named and used for recommendations and reviews.

Having said that, the advantage of a "stickie" is it is always in view but if folk were made aware of the new sub-category, it would get used.
Question Author
It would get big rather quickly, but I do think it'll be better than individual threads. Khandro's Netflix thread prompted lots of recommendations but no one would really look there for that.
If someone had heard of a programme or series, they could look for a specific thread about it rather than searching through pages and pages of a "stickie" for the title.
I think Rocky is talking about programmes we haven’t heard of, Corby.
Question Author
Yes, it is the ones we haven't heard of.
If someone recommends something, would folk post reviews in response ro either agree or tell folk not to waste their time watching it.

I might be telt to watch something but if I seen reviews on the thread, it might make me more or less inclined to do so.
That would be the reader’s choice.
Question Author
Well, I'd look there. Perhaps others will too.
But there's only one way to find out, isn't there., so let's just see if the Ed agrees.
