Washing up liquid, rub onto the stain (a good amount) wash as normal, repeat if needed
What sort of oil ? I think if it's motor oil may as well forget & replace.
Someone will be along soon
What oil is it? If it's cooking oil just use eucalyptus essential oil before you use the washing up liquid as it will destabilise it and make it easier to get out. The best method I have found with oil stains is use progressively more volatile oils blotting with paper towels in between. when you are down to the eucalyptus (very volatile and fairly cheap) the stain should come out of most fabric. However this doesn't work on suede and leather. I would use a Paste of bicarbonate and water if I didn't worry too much about the end result and leave it to dry then brush off. But it will still leave a discoloured mark so I would mostly get a professional to look at it.
Oh just noticed the user name.. Wish is a line of budget cleaning products wonder if it's related. They are mostly rubbish I have tried some of them.
Liquid sugar soap. I have used the Selleys product in Australia but this is probably similar.

If there's no eucalyptus essential oil readily available, the cheapest supermarket blended whisky certainly destabilises me.

Worth a go.
