I'm sorry, I can't remember who posts about waxwing sightings. I'm watching Winterwatch (BBC2) and they've just shown quite a large flock of waxwings eating berries in Edinburgh. Beautiful.

It's Rowanwitch who's been posting in recent months about waxwing sightings. If I see here posting anywhere, I'll try to remember to point her to this thread. (Melv16 is also a keen bird spotter).

Plowter saw them eating berries in Edinburgh a decade ago though:
