men-do the 'rules' work????
9 Answers
I am keen to find out what men think of the 'rules' as to how women should capture the heart of the man she wants (Mr Right as they call him).
I met a guy back in February and have kind of followed the rules...we are both still playing games but the chase kind of came to an end when we got together last week. I'm not sure whether these rules work as I wonder whether men assume a woman isn't interested if she declines his advances.
Come on all you men...I desperately need your advice as I can't keep thinking about theis guy but cant chase him!!!!
p.s. if you don't know what the rules are...google search should help
Thank you in advance

There is nothing worse than a high maintenance princess. Also if you make an overture to a woman and she doesn't appear interested, you risk being accused of harassing her if you persist, so I think most men prefer to just have a decent, honest woman whose intelligent enough to realise that genuine opportunities for good relationships don't come round that often and who don't play nasty mind games. Nothing wrong with a good flirt, but people need to know where they stand.
some men do one thing, some do another. The important thing is, what sort of man do you want and how would he feel about the rules? Do you want someone who enjoys the prolonged thrill of the chase? Or one who states his goals and gives up if he doesn't think there's any prospect of achieving them? Nothing wrong with either sort, but they appeal to different sorts of women.
Im a woman so maybe not an opinion that you are looking for, but I personally think the rules are a load of nonsense. If you like him, just be honest and open without coming over too strong, take your time, there is no rush and if hes been with you since february hes obviously interested. Good luck hope it all works out well
