Oh no! What happened? (Sorry, I can't answer your question).
I can't offer any advice having never experienced concussion. But I do hope you're ok...what happened? Take care of yourself.

i slipped backwards on ice and crashed my head on a concrete lip. i have a lovely video of it from a doorbell camera :)
Rest up, take it easy and don 't worry about work, You will know when you are ready to work again. I don't know but would imagine it can differ from person to person and the amount of damage done. Hope you are well soon x
Ouch! I hope someone who knows what they're talking about can offer you proper advice - and I wish you well very soon.
Ouccchhh! That sounds dreadful. Down here in the SW it's easy to forget it's colder in some places and can get treacherous.
Make sure you see a doc if things don't improve.

im really lucky i didnt break anything (at least i think i didnt!) as i have osteoporosis. I havent really warmed up yet - i was lying on the ice for about an hour and then when i was at a+e my clothes were still wet and i was feezing :)
Omg bednobs. That's awful. We're you alone.
Poor old you bednobs............nobody can answer your question
Certainly forget your work schedule for this week.
Post concussional symptoms can last from one week, to one year.....and more.
You are a strong wench so ,taking in your description of your incident, you will not need a lengthy time to recover.
Back on Monday with a bit of luck.

thanks all you are all very kind. I was not alone - it was outside my front door and i called my husband till he came out every time i tried to move i felt so unwell that he called an ambulance, which took a while to arrive. They insisted i go to hospital because im on blood thinners
Ouch, Bednobs. I have no advice to offer other than do not do too much too soon.

I really hope you start feeling better.
Even falling, without whacking your head is a shock to the system. The best thing is that you know you have a concussion and that nothing is broken or bleeding.

Get well soon x
Aww, such a shock to to system, bednobs. Rest up until you feel better.
Yeah I wd take a week
No important decisions for at LEAST seven days

how long were you 'out' for
do you have memory loss up to the time of the accident
do you have memory loss for any time AFTER

anything of any import that you do ( divorce, shut the kid in the drier, put the cat out, sell all your shares) MAKE a note!
( remember to make a note - good one)
