Printer Not Working

I've changed my laptop from windows 8.1 to windows 10..before the change my printer HP DESKJET 2622 was working properly..after the change the black ink cartridge is not working just faint black marks on paper.

It's just coincidence. The print head just needs cleaning.

Different makes and models of printers have different ways of cleaning the head but the following universal method should work:

Click the Start button.

Click the 'Settings' cogwheel.

Click 'Devices'.

Select 'Printers & Scanners'.

Click on your printer model.

Click 'Manage'.

Click 'Printer properties'.

Click the 'Maintenance' tab.

Click the 'Cleaning' button.

You might need to run the cleaning process several times before it works. If it still doesn't, try the 'Deep cleaning' option instead. (With really blocked ink jets, I've sometimes had to use 'Deep cleaning' about a dozen times in order to fix the problem but, with luck, you should get there much quicker than that).

I can't see a maintenance tab in properties.

Found it !!I've tried doing a clean but it's still as bad.

You probably need to use the 'deep clean' option several times. (As I wrote above, my record is around a dozen cycles before the heads finally cleared and everything was back to normal but two or three is usually enough).
