Happy Saturday to you. Does anyone have any nice plans for this weekend?
Nothing much planned here, apart from the usual routine. Looks like a tiny person has been messing with the under-floor heating but at least my feet were warm when I went to the bathroom.
‘Twas a mercy mission , I flew there on my own via Brussels, we were on holiday in Cyprus when we were contacted by someone that worked for the mines in the Transvaal , our broth in law had been killed in a freak mining accident so I was the one nominated ( by the family) to fly out to be with my sil

I think I'll stick to the small-world toys in Miles' bedroom.
Actually, I've watched a lot of wildlife programmes over the years and have seen what some of those animal are capable off. Give me Fallow Deer any day!
The funeral had taken place when I got there but I went to see the grave , strange there was a headstone placed on almost straight away , he was a deputy of the mine and people working for him( blacks) revered him and he treat them very well ,they addressed him as the Mukulu ( cheif) of the Geordie tribe and they lined the route in black and white African robes and for him they chanted The Blaydon Races
I am honestly fine thank you ladies. Liverpool Royal for a "routine" Ct scan this morning. Because it is weekend there is no shuttle bus service to the Royal( superb new building) from the Hospital Qpark and we had a longish walk in a hurry. 6 months ago I could not have done it. In 6 months time I will be able to jog it. There and back in under 5 hours and the M56 was rammed. Done and dusted. Just fancy a dark chocolate ginger biscuit( that is not cryptic ^_~ ) after my dinner.
South Africa is certainly beautiful, we are here for our annual two month stay. Don’t miss our British winter. Shame can’t bring Reggie my dog though, he would like the beaches.
I remember going wine tasting in Franschhoek. I can't remember the name of the place (was talking about it to a friend yesterday and we were trying to remember) Something like Auberge?
