Ramping Up

Last week was the first time I've bought a daily paper for years, only really for something to read while having a coffee in a cafe.
At the very bottom of the page( cant now remember what paper it was) Tesco stated that, they believe many of their supplyers are now just ramping up prices for no reason, and they are investigating such. While I tend to agree, how do they investigate other businesses?

How do you mean,nicey?Thanks to Brexit,a lot of businesses are just getting by.Nothing to do with the supplyers(sic).All to do with the massive benefits of Brexit.(Sarcasm).

Its not really me saying anything. Its a massive supermarket chain that is. Brexit is not in my OP.
