Just heard on Radio 2 that Sunak has sacked Zahawi. More to follow, no doubt.

He made a £27million profit on the sale of his share in YouGov.

Then submits a false tax declaration to not pay any tax on it.

The greed of the man is shocking.

The fact that Sunak deems him worthy to sit amongst his ranks in parliament is, unfortunately, not shocking.

Zahawi spent a fortune threatening the tax expert Dan Neidle who was investigating his tax affairs.

Numerous solicitors letters were sent warning Neidle off, which fortunately he ignored.

(It was Dan Neidle who first exposed Mrs Sunak’s tax avoidance and dodgy residency status).

As I said, I’m not well acquainted with the facts in this matter and would probably not have contributed had I not noticed that somebody was concerned for my welfare.

You can now well understand why this country is in such a mess. This government have given more time to themselves in, fighting one another for the top job, filling their pockets with whatever opportunity came along, ( including Covid) lying through their back sides time and time again. Partying while people were dying. Then you still have Boris visiting Ukraine, funded by the tax payer, who still don't get the message, that we don't want you, or the lying government you think you represent. Boris. Ukraine are fighting for their lives, they don't have time to keep patting you on the back to make you feel good.

The 1st anniversary of the invasion of Ukraine is a few weeks off.
Most people are expecting the Russians to mount a big offensive to subjugate Ukraine in the next few weeks.

The UK, US and Germany have pledge tanks.

The UK tanks will arrive at the end of March (don’t hold your breath). The Germans are aiming to deliver in May, ant the US maybe sometime later, possibly in the summer.
Ukraine say they need 300 tanks, and less than 100 have been pledged by the west.
If the Russians win a spring offensive, it will all be down to our failure to respond in time.
