These are reasonable, basic but clean, comfortable and are onsuite.

Hostel World is a great site for finding cheap accommodation. (Don't be put off by the word 'hostel' in the title. There are plenty of hotels and guesthouses listed as well).
Go to http://www.hostelworld.com
Put in your dates and then use 'Additional search options' to select 'Budget Hotels' and 'Guesthouses'.
When you see the selection offered, some will have a percentage figure (for customer satisfaction) alongside them. This is only shown if there have been at least 6 customer reports in the last 6 months. However, if you click on 'details' for the other hotels (with fewer than 6 reports) you can still see any customer feedback by clicking on the 'Ratings' tab.
The following selection from that site all look quite reasonable. (Prices are for the total stay for 1 person, in a room with en suite facilities, including breakfast, from Tuesday 24 October, for 3 nights):
Mowbray Court Hotel (Earls Court) - 120
Kensington Manor Hotel (South Kensington) - 130
Marble Arch Inn (Marble Arch of course!) - 145
That's just a selection. There are plenty of others to choose from.
