It's a shame you are denied the usual measures of enjoyment of food, specially taste and smell.

But your system will appreciate the input, which is the same whether you actually enjoyed it or not

Working later - really enjoyed the Irish-Frogs match and Scotland looking better now and the Daffs are wilting.....
What a waste of fish and chips! Poor you not able to taste them. You should have had toast and soup.

I had soup at lunch time Tilly, my favourite, Broccoli and Stilton in the soup maker, couldn’t taste that either,it’s a funny sensation I have say

It's one of the side effects of Covid for some people...and can last a long time. My daughter experienced it, but only for a few days. But an acquaintance is still suffering a year down the line.
Hopefully it won't last long.

Here it's slow cooked M and S fennel and parmesan sausages with cheesy cauli mash.

Haha, I only knew Thursdays chilli was too hot when my tongue was burning , at least I got that sensation….burning
I wonder what taste sensation or craving comes back first? I'd hate to think in my case it was bananas....
