Just having a rant. Amazon :- found myself talking to a robot, ended up swearing at robot, put through to a human for 10 minutes who was far worse than the robot. Didn't swear at him but swore a lot after I slammed the phone down. He was utterly dopey!

That's why I rarely call help lines...either non-human or stoopid.

Just had boiler serviced...my 15 year old boiler is in very good working order. A new one might be more efficient though.

Advice from boiler engineer to my son who has a really old gas boiler. Keep it going. Much more reliable than the new ones.

Yes...engineer told me many new ones, even top of the range, have plastic connectors. Planned obsolescence. Mine are brass and will last indefinitely.

I have a ' bite tongue and do not swear ' button...it's saved me numerous times. I mutter a lot instead.
Now I am off out quickly...a survey of the cupboard tells me the cat will be wanting food. Fat furry sausage.
