If anyone out there has trouble signing in like me... I have finally found the answer - I am with aol and have not been able to get in for at least 3 weeks Answerbank had no idea why I couldn't. So my son-in-law suggested I go into Internet Explorer and get into Answerbank that way.. I signed in and got through straight away... so If anyone has probs go through Internet Explorer..reaslise now aol are rubbish.....they were absolutely no help at all

Its not so much aol are useless but the staff at their help centres are a waste of time... 2 of them suggested different things neither of which worked...
Strange... why is it you have only now found the answer when ABEd alerted the rest of AB to your predicament and how to circumvent it (i.e. change browser) in her blog 5 days ago?
Well Kempie.... That's because I emailed the Answerbank Editor last week and told him (he already knew of the trouble I'd been having) I said maybe I should post it to let other people know he said "good idea"... I just never got around to it - sorry about that
Well I've been with AOL for 10 years nad have NEVER had a problem, so 'if you finally found the answer' it's not AOL - it's something else !!!! You must be so proud of your son-in-law !

I am proud of my son-in-law because he sorted out something that 2 of aols customer support staff were completely unable to do...It's not rocket science. I told them I can't sign in to a website that I am normally able to....both gave me long garbled instructions that made absolutely no difference... ergo - aol are rubbish
